My name is Daniel and I am a computer scientist who works as an assistant professor at Loyola University Chicago, USA.
I investigate the application of techniques from the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Media Forensics, and Biometrics to make our society better.

I am honored to be among the recipients of the 2026 Vincent J. Duminuco, S.J. Award for Assessment Leadership, offered by Loyola University Chicago in recognition of outstanding service in assessing and fostering Computer Science students’ learning.
