My name is Daniel and I am a computer scientist who works as an assistant professor at Loyola University Chicago, USA.
I investigate the application of techniques from the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Media Forensics, and Biometrics to make our society better.

I am honored to have received the Rising Star distinction for the St. Ignatius Loyola Award for Excellence in Teaching, offered by the Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy at Loyola University Chicago.
